So on Thursday I said goodbye to the next stone on the scales (only by 1/2 a pound...but I’m still in there!) It feels really good - especially after Easter and it’s not been the easiest week emotionally after my mum had a bad fall which is going to change life for our family for quite a while. I’m definitely thinking very differently about food to how I did 8 weeks ago and that feels great too!

Thank you Rachel, all the emails and this group have played a big part in where I’ve come so far....the biggest one realising I can make a choice about things I didn’t think I could.

No longer does one less than ideal meal or a bad day feel like it’s going to derail my plans. I didn’t turn to food (or wine!) this week when things were tough - something the old me would definitely have done!

This has honestly been such a good experience and all the support you’ve provided has been a massive help. I know I’m not going to go back to my old ways as I truly think my mindset has changed

Just a quick shout out to the awesome Rachel Redlaw. Because of her inspiring words and recipes, I have found a way to become the slimmest I have ever been (while stuffing my body with marathon training stuff).

When you are fuelling and also trying to fit into a wedding dress for the big run, it is a real balance. Rachel gave me strength to believe in my body, believe in my food choices and become the person I have always wanted to be when I look in the mirror.

To think, three years ago chemo had stolen my hair and cancer had stolen bits of my body. Now I am more body confident than ever - and ready to face one of the biggest challenges of my life
.
Thank you Rach. J xx

Just yesterday I had to give away clothes!

I’ve gone from a size 16 to a size 12 going on 10 in these weeks

The Tiniest Thai Diet isn’t a diet - it’s a really clever eating plan that lets you devour tasty food that just happens to be good for you!

The variety of dishes on offer means you never get bored - which means no naughty snacking - and for someone like me who loves to cook it’s a perfect win-win.

Ah I shall miss the weekly emails and videos!

But I have lots of lovely recipes and ideas stacked up to keep me going - and the whole no wheat and dairy thing has now become a habit. I haven’t eaten bread or pasta since 8th Jan! I’ve also learnt a few things....

1. I can lose weight! I always thought I only put weight on. But the choices I make make changes - wow who knew??? Ha ha.

2. I can cook rice. Me! Amazing. And I now have a rack full of stuff I’d never have bought before - chillies, lemongrass, sriracha, fish sauce, sesame seeds - and I use them.

3. I don’t have to live with acid (man). I used to live off pills from the docs to control dreadful bloating and acid reflux, I have half litre bottles of Gaviscon stashed all around the house, since eating like this I haven’t needed any of it. Who knows if it’s the wheat or the dairy that interfered with me so much but because I didn’t know what to cut out (or what to eat instead) I just never tried to help myself.

4. One bad day is not one bad diet. Before if I messed up I would always throw in the towel and just slide back into eating whatever. Now, I suck it up and remember tomorrow is a new day and get back on the horse.

5. I’m still scared of the scales

Big love Rachel Redlaw and thanks xxx

I’ve loved being part of the first group and recommend it to anyone!

I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to fit it in with my cooking meals for 4 kids every day who wouldn’t want to eat Thai food all the time but it’s been easy to do and great.

I’ve lost about a stone (14 pounds) in the 6 weeks that I’ve been following it.

I’m looking forward to carrying on until I’ve lost another 3!

I’ve lost a stone and a half - just hit the half stone today actually - so that’s 20lbs ... and I’m officially on Week 7 as I didn’t do it when I was in America for 3 weeks.

I know I’m going to get to the 3 stone goal because this isn’t a diet ... I’m just on it now.

Nobody I know has ever stuck to a diet, me included, but the cleverness of The Tiniest Thai diet is that you don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything.

Flavour-filled food and lots of variety means you don’t get bored.

This one is a keeper.
